What's On?

Free Art Friday began as a small gift to spread happiness, art, and kindness throughout SMBI. Local artists donate handmade gifts, and we share this kindness with others. Each week a donated treasure is hidden in the community with a riddle or clue to help locate it.

As an artist collective, we believe that art is for everyone. Our art classes are tailored to meet your needs, regardless of your background or experience level. NDIS participants can bring a support worker free of charge, or we can offer an experienced support professional with over 25 years in the field to assist you. Join us to express yourself and unleash your creativity!

Eat, Art, Play is a place for non-school children to create and play. An amazing experience to help facilitate children connecting freely and having fun in a safe, supportive community environmennt.

It all started when we were approached by a local group of mothers advocating for our community park. Together with local artists and organisations, we created the Skate Park Mural. A place where the community comes together. Our children’s handprints are sealed on the surfaces, and the mural tells the story of our surrounding marine life. We would like to thank everyone involved in this project.

We are currently supporting a group of creative women to revamp our local community library's children’s space to bring an inviting learning and reading space.
